Scooter Safety

All Year 3 students have had the opportunity to learn new scooter skills and Complete some Safety training. This was a sponsored programme by iWay, Sport Hawkes Bay and Hastings District Council. We learnt about helmet Safety, carrying a scooter safely and different ways to stop. We also practised crossing the road with adults and safely scootering past driveways on the footpaths. We played games and had lots of fun.
